1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically as you browse the site.

Information you provide: when you submit our "Book a Free Strategy Call" form or otherwise contact us, we collect the details you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, business/company name, business type, the services you're interested in, and an approximate budget range. If you email us directly, we retain that correspondence and any information you choose to include in it.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting and analytics infrastructure automatically logs standard technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URLs, and timestamps — to help us understand site usage and keep the site secure. We use a persisted local preference (via your browser'slocalStorage) to remember your light/dark theme and accent color choice; this stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

2. Google Ads API Access & Google User Data

DeviXpert uses an internal keyword research tool, built and operated solely by our own team, that connects to the Google Ads API via OAuth (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwordsscope) using our own DeviXpert Google Ads Manager account credentials — this is not a feature site visitors or clients authenticate into.

Specifically, this tool:

• Accesses: keyword idea data (average monthly search volume, competition level, and bid range estimates) from the Google Ads Keyword Plan Idea Service, scoped to our own Google Ads accounts;
• Uses: this data solely to inform our own internal SEO and content strategy — deciding which keywords to target in our marketing work, both for DeviXpert and, where relevant, for client engagements we've been contracted for;
• Stores: results locally and temporarily on team members' own machines for the duration of a research task; we do not maintain a persistent server-side database of Google Ads account data; and
• Shares: this data with no one. We do not transfer, disclose, or sell it to any third party for any reason, including targeted, personalized, or retargeted advertising, selling to data brokers or information resellers, determining credit-worthiness or lending eligibility, or creating databases. We do not use it to develop, improve, or train any AI/ML model, personalized or non-personalized/generalized.

We limit our use of this Google user data strictly to providing and improving the internal keyword research functionality described above, and to no other purpose.

Our access, use, and storage of Google user data through this integration complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to strategy call requests and other inquiries you submit;
• Understand your business needs so we can propose relevant services (SEO, GEO, web design & development, paid media, social media, PPC, AI workflows & automation, and graphic design);
• Communicate with you about our services, proposals, and ongoing work;
• Improve and maintain the security and performance of our website; and
• Comply with legal obligations where applicable.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use lead or contact form data for purposes unrelated to responding to your inquiry and providing our services.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it with a small number of trusted third parties strictly to operate our business, including:

• Website hosting and infrastructure providers, to keep https://devixpert.com online and secure;
• Email delivery, CRM, or marketing-automation providers we use to route and respond to strategy call requests; and
• Advertising and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta) where we run paid campaigns, on an aggregated or pseudonymized basis where possible.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DeviXpert, our clients, or others.

5. Data Retention

We store your personal information, including any Google user data described in Section 2, for a period of time that is consistent with our business purposes. We will retain it for the length of time needed to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy — responding to your inquiry, pursuing a potential engagement, fulfilling an active client relationship, or completing a specific keyword research task — unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When the retention period for a given type of data expires, we delete or destroy it. You may request that your data be deleted at any time by emailing info@devixpert.com — see Section 7 below.

6. Data Security

Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your data. We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data in transit between your browser and our servers, and we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including access controls limiting who on our team can view Google user data described in Section 2 — designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to opt out of receiving marketing communications from us. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@devixpert.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. International Visitors

DeviXpert primarily serves businesses in USA & Canada, and our website and infrastructure are operated with that audience in mind. If you access our site from outside these regions, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or Canada.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
